2013-2014 Pastoral Council:
This of group of sixteen is the primary advisory body to the pastor. Members are selected from a list of names submitted to the pastor. The selection process attempts to balance the council in terms of age, sex and interests. It meets four times a year, or as needed. For more information click Pastoral Council.

2013~ 2014 Finance Council:
The Parish Finance Committee is an advisory body to the pastor. It meets several times a year to review income and expenses. It prepares the annual financial report to the parish. The pastor also consults with the members before committing the parish to major projects. The members are appointed by the pastor.

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S CLUB:
The Catholic Women’s Club is a spiritual and supporting arm of Christ the King Parish, and it has played a key role in the parish for many years. The Women’s Club provides an opportunity for women of all ages and from all walks of like to get together. The Club’s mission is providing spiritual renewal; fund raising for the parish; and strengthening social friendships. Social and spiritual activities are planned for the Club members as well as for the parish. Meetings and social events are held monthly and are announced in the Church Bulletin. 50 PLUS CLUB:
The Fifty Plus Club is a social group which plans various activities and events. Group meetings and activities are usually held the 1st Tuesday of every other month in the Parish Hall at 1:00 PM. Day trips are usually held the 1st Monday of every other month. Both singles and couples are welcome to join. The club offers a great opportunity to make new friends and enjoy a wide variety of activities. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:
Christ the King Council #13388 ~ 2008 Celebrating Our 5 Year Anniversary~ The Knights of Columbus are catholic men committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. We are quite proud of our many brother Knights, who, through strong volunteerism of time, talent and experience involve themselves in many charitable causes. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY:
This particular group of men and women is dedicated to helping the sick and needy of our parish. There are currently six branches of this organization that have national, as well as regional and local conferences or chapters.
The areas of development in our parish include visiting the sick at the local hospitals; offering financial assistance to needy members of the community. Visiting the home-bound; providing meals and support for the homeless; hosting a group of homeless on a regular basis; participating in Habitat For Humanity; operating the parish food pantry on a regular basis Membership is open to any practicing member of the parish community. CHRIST THE KING THRIFT SHOP:
The thrift Shop is open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday for the distribution and sale of clothing and household items. The chief purpose is to provide an economical place to shop for people on very limited budgets. Vouchers are given to those in extreme circumstances who are unable to pay. However, all are welcome to come and shop. The proceeds are used to supplement the budget of St. Vincent De Paul Society. Funds are also used for the educational efforts of the parish. The Center is staffed by volunteers and anyone wishing to help is most welcome. Contact Mary Daly 508-420-0949.

RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY:
Working primarily in the parish itself, this group of dedicated members of our parish disseminate literature, prepare programs and respond to Diocesan Pro-life activities in the area of communication and education on behalf of all levels of life. Cub Scouts begins the adventure for boys in the first grade with Tiger Cubs and ends with Webelos at age 10-11. Pack 36 is an active group and boys wishing to join should contact Pack 36 Cub Master Vince Dostilio at 508 292 6434.
A Webelos Scout can then Cross Over to Boy Scouts. This group of Scouts is a very active group that learns skills that help them in their journey to adulthood. Having FUN year round with Camping and Life Skills learned through Merit Badges, Service to Church and Community and advancement through the Scouting Ranks towards Eagle Scout are the goals of this group. Boys from 11-18 years interested in joining should contact Troop 36 Scout Master John Cotton at 781 258 0244.
Venture Crew is a high adventure crew of both young men and women ages 14-20. These Venture Scouts are formed to participate in activities that challenge and interest them. Such as Scuba Diving, Skiing, White Water Rafting and Sailing are but some of the possible activities that are possible. These scouts take a greater role in fine tuning the skills learned in life, involve themselves in service to their community and believe that if they can imagine it, they can do it! Currently there is not an active VENTURE crew at Christ the King. All groups are active year round and require adult participation to function properly. Scouting is a Family Ministry and if your child wishes to participate in the Scouting Program at CTK, please be prepared to help out with adult involvement.
