CHRIST THE KING LIBRARY

Our Library is located at the back of the parish hall to the left of the stage.

LIBRARY HOURS

Monday – Friday 9:00 – 1:00
Saturday – Sunday 9:00 – 12:00 Noon

The library is located behind and to the left of the parish hall. Its mission is to provide a welcoming space for the spiritual and educational enrichment of members and visitors to the parish community.

Over 4,000 books, audio-visuals, and periodicals are available for take-out. Staffed by volunteers after weekday and Sunday morning Masses, the library remains open throughout the day. Easy directions for take-out are posted for your convenience.

From its humble beginnings, the library has adhered to its original intention of providing wholesome materials. At present over 40 different categories are found on our shelves. These core areas include Bible Study, Biography, Church History, and Church Documents as well as large sections on Prayer, Spirituality, Family Life, and Women’s Issues.

Accessing the card catalog under Author, Title or Subject facilitates finding a book or audio-visual. A short description of the offering is found on each card, as well as to locate it on the shelf. Signing out books and other materials is easy with help from staff, or using clearly posted directions.

In recent years growth has especially occurred on our audio-visual shelves. We offer DVDs/ CDs for adults and children. One shelf is dedicated to family viewing, encouraging families to view and discuss.

We are thankful for donations and monetary gifts from various individuals and groups. These enable us to devote more of our resources to updating and converting from VHS to DVDs.
